The annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon was another great success albeit enjoyed by a smaller than usual crowd for 2018. The kitchen turned out their usual scrumptuous luncheon led by Rob and the bar staff did their best to make sure no one went thirsty. Trevor Williams and Steve Peasnell did a sterling job running the sweeps surviving several protests on the day including allegations of selling 13 tickets in a 12 horse field!

The best dressed and best fascinator contest went to Melanie Farrant and Val Bortotto respectively who as you can see from the photograph helped add a touch of glamour to the day. The rain stopped just long enough for the running of the cup which always gets the hearts racing in the room before the heavens opened up again leaving the 4th green looking like a swimming pool. Thanks to all who came along to help make the day a success and we look forward to doing it all again next year.

Congratulations to our Inaugural Masters Winner Lachlan Hooper.

Lachlan and a guest will now be heading off to Bonville Golf Resort Coffs Harbour thanks to our Sponsor Helloworld Ivanhoe.

Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2018 Masters. We look forward to the event being bigger and better next year.

A big thank you to our Ambassador Tony Shaw for his hard work in organising the event.
